hi guys, Yesterday my colleague went to a client and demonstrated our seo plans and services and how we do them. But the client replied as saying, they have using a free software in house for SEO purposes. He told him the software name as "Traffic Travis". i have never heard of this software before. So can anyone who has used it kindly comment on whether it is useful and can be used for SEO purpose?? Thanks in advance
Never heard of Traffic Travis too and I make a quick search, maybe it is like a software tool like IBP.
I never heard of that also. But for me software is not advisable it still need the helps of SEO Specialist to think of new strategies and how to optimized the whole site.
I have visited their site - http://www.traffictravis.com/. I think it would be a right decision to try this soft to be able to explain your customers what SEO activities can't be done automatically. And I'm sure that this soft will be free for a limited time or with limited functionality. "there is no such a thing as FREE lunch"
I'm going to have to disagree with you on this statement. For good SEO, you don't have to spend anything but time. Time making sure that all of your content is well written and thought out. Making sure that all of your links pointing to a page are relevant to its content, and doing the research to make sure that you've chosen to optimize your page for the best possible keywords. Free SEO software is a tool, and can be a great tool in the hands of a capable user. Anything that can be used to make a job easier is never a bad thing. Even if the results are sub-par, you can still refine them. I'm sure that anyone will agree that if you can cut your workload in half, or even by a third, it's incredibly helpful. The less time you spend on optimizing your site, the more time you can spend on the advertising and marketing for it.
I also have to disagree with this statement. As long as the free software is accurate and reliable then why not use it? I use the following seo tool: http://www.myseodashboard.com. You can check Google, Yahoo, and Bing rankings (with history). You can also check keyword density for multiple web pages.
