Hey guys, I was just interested because my friend is having problem accessing google. But when he uses a proxy, he can use it. Has anyone heard of this problem? This is the first time I have heard of this problem. My friend turned off his firewall and he called his ip provider. They said everything was fine on their end.

yes, G banned IP for reasons e.g your friend's IP sent too many query to google in very short time using script (not Google API) like curl.

Google will give 302 redirect to error message, but it temporarily.

i agree, running certain type of rank position software such as IBP can cause G to block you ip temporarily, if you have a dynamic ip address just log off and back on again and it should sort out the issue.

    Your right ...

Running some software that makes keyword quueries can cause this problem. It's usually a temporary ban of an ip address.

    A proxy is not affected.
