Has anyone has good/bad experience with using pay for traffic services? I am not talking about auto hits or anything. I am refering to using services that give you unique visitors via using expired domain names or desktop advertising? Please let know of the experience and what service you tried. Thank You

Paid traffic only lasts until you stop paying for it.

Is that worth it to you?

That's what people have to learn.

I don't believe in such paid traffics. I've noticed many click frauds .... I even have heard that some comanies are paying you $0.00x for 1 click on ads...

    :( very poor

    I tried two:

traffictaxi.com, my stats programm only counted about 65% of the visitors, about 5% of them clicked somewhere on my site.

advertyz.com, stats programm counts about 90% of the visitors but only about 1% of them clicks somswhere. I think it's about 100% hitbot traffic.

Paid traffic simply doesn't work for one main thing: it's usually not interest driven, meaning it's useless.

The traffic you will receive (if it's real) will be worthless to you. You need targeted traffic.

If you're going to pay for traffic, use Google Adwords, Yahoo/Overture.com, or find websites that cater to your target market and ask them if you can purchase some advertising space.

I sell this kind of traffic. I have changed advertising networks a few times trying to find higher quality traffic. The results vary a lot. Only buy traffic if it is category targeted. General traffic will do nothing for you. Sometimes a campaign will work well if it is well targeted, and other times the visitor activity is very low.

Try to avoid this kind of traffic, even traffic exchange. I've experienced with my own blog that used traffic exchange between blog. I received X10 visitors for a day but all of them just visited my blog for 0-5 second and didn't go anywhere, didn't click anything, didn't sign up my e-mail. That useless traffic and cannot convert to anything. Build real traffic with smart and patient is the best way. :D

Paid traffic can be great but this $9.99 for 5000 or 50,000 or 500,000 hits crap is almost always exactly that, crap. I've bough traffic for $5000 that was worth every cent though.

I paid for traffic at qualitytrafficsupply.com (run by bluecircle at DP), and I never even got the promised welcome e-mail. I e-mailed them several times complaining, and got no responses.

Also bought traffic from redirectedvisitors.com, I got the hits but not a single click and not a single "visitor" who clicked onto another page.

Conclusion: if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

    You live, you learn.

PPC can be great if you know what your doing and have something feesible to sell.

Create very specific ads that direct to very specific landing pages.

The only ones i use are yahoo and google and maybe MSN. Dont waste your money with the others as they dont convert well
