I recently received this message from Google Google Webmaster Tools notice of detected unnatural links on any help would be very much appreciated thanks yall
The fact that that Google does notice is great news for those who preach making natural link pattens. Because they make allowances for the possibilities that some competitor is attempting to sabotage your rankings, they usually don't penalize your site for unnatural links but just discredits them, and it seems provide a polite warning. In the ideal world Google imagines you only receive links from other sites that have judged your content worthwhile, a site would end up with a variety of links from these other sites, when a particular pattern of linking is repeated, this can be viewed as an unnatural pattern of links not acquired "naturally," as they would be in a world free of active link acquisition. Unnatural link patterns could include: Links all of one type, like having only blog comments linking to your site. Too high an occurrence of one particular anchor text, or too many anchor texts altogether. An excessive number of reciprocal links (link exchanges) Too low a percentage of NoFollow tagged links, although they may no pass link juice, they still add to your link diversity. Links from known paid link farms. Large number of new backlinks appearing one week and then almost none the following month, this can happen naturally when your site has viral content that's briefly hot, none the less, some SEO pros consider maintaining a steady rate of link getting to be a fundamental rule. Since no penalty has been assessed, you apparently don't have to file an appeal after your links start looking more natural.
