Has anyone had any PayPal disputed submissions with this company?

Discussion in 'Directories' started by Badlands07, Dec 30, 2007.

I received 3 submissions from a company called - Green Culture Inc - after reviewing them all (they were for three different directories) they all were approved in the categories the submitter submitted to and everything seemed fine, until today when they disputed all three of them for no apparent reason (no email, no nothing - just emails from PayPal that they were bring disputed). Has anyone else had this problem with this company? Just curious.

    Thanks,
    Chris

I just got a dispute from this company 20 minutes ago. Can't believe i approved that site. I replied to the paypal dispute. (Screw it, i just cancelled the subscription and removed listing.) They will get there money back when this paypal dispute is over with. Not even 24 hours after approval, i get this.

At least i am not the only one who has had a run in with this company.

Thanks for creating this thread, i was searching to see if anyone already has a issue with the company.

I don't think that is him. Do you have some reason to believe they are the same?

I received the same E-mail today as well. After submitting documentation, PayPal states it is now "waiting on a response from the other party."

    Sorry,
I am not sure; that is why I said "I think".
The only reason I thought like that is, the submission came right after my post to the category I stated there.
Of course it may have been someone else who read the thread. But as I told the submission came just after my post.
My Apologies if that's not him.

EDIT: I just read the other posted thread, looks like it is a Paypal problem. The user is Kevin and his DP username is GreenMonster. He says he is the marketing manager of greenculture.com. I am sure he will respond here if he knows about this thread.

Last time also there was a similar problem with this company. Then it was sorted out too. I am sure, this issue may also get sorted out soon.

Email them on that particular paypal id :)

I got a submission as well. What is the actual problem here? Did someone pirate his account and spam pay for review directories with money until they cry uncle and give in? Did this person "sleep-submit" (like sleep walk but for webmasters) and not remember about it the next day?
I am only half joking here. I wonder why the dispute on a web directory submission?

    Hi Everyone,

Looks like we are having the same problem again. I was on vacation for the last two weeks and just found out about this problem with Paypal through PMs from some of you. Once again, I am very sorry for the inconvenience that we may have caused. Currently I am working with Paypal over the phone to get rid of all the disputes.

We have people overseas working on directory submissions and that seems to trigger the Paypal Security measure. After the problems we had with Paypal last time, they assured us that this problem would no occur again, so needless to say, I was very surprised to see this thread with the same problem. I will keep everyone updated and you guys will have your funds soon. Thank you.

    Kevin

    Update:

Just got off the phone with Paypal, the dispute will be lifted in 24 to 48 hours. No charge back or refund were ever requested on our part so nothing negative should appear on your account. Once again, sincere apologies to everyone. Not a very good start to the year huh? I want to assure you all that we are a legitimate company and our link submissions to your respected directories are genuine. Our company have submitted to numerous directories before and never had once refuse payments. If you have any questions, feel free to pm me directly. Thank you for your patiences.
