http://quitsmokingrightnow.com/indexCB.htm?hop=0 I am looking to promoted but its really expensive -197 dollars, which would be a good thing. Just depends on how you look at it. What would be the best way to promote this product?
Some people might want to buy it because its expensive . They might think they will get a quality ( unique ) product . So give it a shot . But try to promote it with bum marketing first and then if you convert , go with PPC . Good luck .
I wouldn't promote anything that costs more that $100, unless it looks really promising, such as Affiliate Elite or Keyword Elite.
I think I've tried a little bit of promotion for this product without success... But looking at it again I may give it another go
I did some article and bum marketing for this product with no results, then tried PPC and also got no results. Tons of hops with no conversions.
G`day, the cost of the product will turn people off immediately which is really dumb when you think about it .... they probably spend that each month on cigarettes anyway ... lol ... so you`d need to coax them and show them that $197 is peanuts compared to possibly tens of thousands of dollars spent on smoking in years to come and the fact they will most likely die earlier than if they didn`t smoke ... $197 doesn`t seem like much then aye So how do you go about "coaxing" them? Create either a website or Forum on giving up smoking (Forum is a lot more work) With the website, you`ll need to get people to signup to your list ... find a free "Give Up Smoking" info product as bait than it`s easy to spread your promotion of the product throughout ... you`ll get bites eventually and the more you tweak, test and track, the better the result. Christopher J. P.S. It would be very wise to create an auto-responder series so it`s on auto-pilot.
I haven't had any luck with click bank so far. I posted a book cub and a dating serves on PPC. had lots of clicks but no conversions. I've had trouble posting their links on twitter. Always blocks them saying they are harmful. I asked CB about this and they said " find out more about the rules for twitter". I posted an ad on my FB page and my protection program told me the same thing. I don't understand it.
In the last five weeks I have had 10,000 clicks and show 0 conversions. Wedding items.golf clubs and balls, airline tickets and hotels. A site that really sets up your entire vacation if you want to take the time to do it rather than use an agent.Books, and toys. The majority of these have been on PPC. I've been told by my mentor you should expect 1 sale per hundred (hope). I've invested a sum and show no returns. I feel my ad is good, getting clicks. They land right at the product, no searching for it. I believe the prices to be competitive and my key words are specific. Some reports are suppose to be in real time, and I'm told other my be a week to a month to show. I get different information from different people. About FB I thought I would try it again but my ad sat at pending for a day and a half so I just canceled it. I've spent a couple hundred there with no conversions. Every one has been telling me FB has been messing up more than usual this week. Any suggestions for me?
Besides acne, the quit smoking niche in Clickbank has some of the lowest conversions I've ever seen. Being a smoker myself for over (14 years) I'll tell you one thing -- I would never believe that a book can help you quit... I've read Allen Carr's book without any success twice already. What I truly believe would help a smoker quit this nasty habit is his/her will power to become a healthy, positive and energetic person again. To get back to the point -- I've promoting both The Quit Smoking Today Program and QSRN (I've just checked this product) and it has been removed from Clickbank's marketplace. "This product is no longer for sale or has been disabled due to a terms of service violation" Not sure why but it isn't much of a loss. Cheers Al.
Most people that smoke, as I, have already tried a gimmick or two and know that until you get into your head you really are going to quit you won't. I'll say I did have this mind set once and did quit for 2 1/5 years. Thought about a cigarette ever day the whole time and of course started again. There is more than one of these on click bank.
I'm surprised how everyone's responded to this thread and haven't even noticed the product's been kicked out of the marketplace.
Have a look at the order page: http://www.quitsmokingrightnow.com/buy.htm There are 3 "convenient and secure order options". Hm....
I was unable to find my Id at the bottom no click no lose. This has happened to me more than once and didn't promote the ad . I haven't used CB that often and will continue that practice.
yeah, I would definitely always check to make sure my CB ID is at the bottom or else, I won't promote it either. And once you're promoting something... keep checking periodically to make sure your link still works.
Another thought... Actually two: 1) This is clearly a product where you want to capture your leads first and then follow up wtih a whole series of helpful messages... and resources ;-) that you feed them through your autoresponder 2) I would NEVER try to advertise through a hoplink directly. Not only is it against TOS in many places, but it will pretty much guarantee that you won't sell anything. Why? Because some people will substitute their own hoplink, and others, who may not have one, may just delete the hoplink or go to the site directly (don't ask -- they're not paying more so it makes little sense. But maybe they just don't like the idea of anyone benefitting from their purchase (other than the vendor of course)) What to do instead? There are numerous redirection and cloaking services and options. My preferred choice and one that works for most places -- buy a suitable domain name and do the advanced cloaked redirect right at Godaddy. If that's too pricey for you, use something like budurl. Also, reread my point above. Ideally, you should send them to YOUR landing page or site or lead capture page first anyway. But even if you do, you'll have to send them to the CB page eventually, and for THAT, you will still need to cloak your affiliate link, so use either a cloaked redirect or a budurl. Good luck!.
I tried marketing that product in email marketing and no results. People can just go to a clinic and get stuff. Why pay money for free stuff? Exactly. ps. I know a proven, easy way to stop smoking!! .... don't start. ha ha. sorry.
! The product's been removed from the marketplace (people aren't really reading the posts but just posting probably to increase their post count) It's been removed probably for the high number of refunds.
