I was just curious if ANYONE has ever had a good experience with RedZee/RedZ? As far as I can tell and all the feedback to articles on my blog, it is a complete scam. So, if anyone has had a good experience I would love to hear about it.
Took me a few minutes and a google and now I remember it .. who could ever forget that cute little red zebra .. http://redz.com/
My spyware detection program gives me an alert if I visit a page (like this one) that just has the redz.com/ link on it. Don't know why, but always has, plus our Barracuda Web Filter at work is blocking it. Even though this is an older thread, it may shed some light on its reputation.
Why ? you sound like hiding something there on your senteces.. please let us know, to answer the question too..
It's been around for a while .. so long in fact, that I had forgotten all about it until this thread popped up. I'm surprised that it's still online. This search engine is really nothing new at all .. unless of course, you haven't been online very much, or even at all ..
I would love to see the feedback on your blog about RedZee search engine. They tried to renew our plan recently, and we discovered that they kept using our money to buy a keyword we advised them not to. Say you had a women's dressy shoe store, and wanted to buy the keyword "shoes". They ask, "while you're at it, do you want to buy "sneakers"? You tell them, no, we don't sell sneakers. What they did to us would be analogous to them going ahead with their plan anyway, and splitting your money between shoes and sneakers. Then apologizing for their "mistake". Then putting your money toward "sneakers" again. Then apologizing. Then asking if you want to renew "sneakers" yet again, which they were supposed to have abandoned the year before. Part of us thinks, "oh, just for sake of back links, maybe it's worth it". But then again, I don't see Google trying such tactics. Good feedback? Yeah, I agree with another member. The Zebra's pretty cute.
RedZ search engine has sent thousands of "Visitors" to my site and not a single one has ever purchased a product. This went on for more than a year and I accepted what the Rep was telling me. "analytics don't work well for RedZ" When I told him that the bounce rate was 100%, not a problem. The bounce rate is now 0%. The returning customer rate is 0%. Sales rate is 0%, except for the purchase that I made as a test to see if it was working or not. The analytics are WAY out of whack when compared to traffic from any other reffering site. It looks to me like robotic traffic rather than anything legitimate. Anyone ever wishing to investigate RedZ for possible fraud is welcome to use my analytics in the investigation.
