Has anyone found a really good writer here

Does anyone use writers posting here on DP? If so, please post their names and the rates they charge.

 

What kind of articles you want?

 

On a range of topics. I am looking for writers who are not limited by what they can write on.

 

There are quite a few "really good" writers here. But they're not going to be the $.03 / word and less writers who advertise constantly. And while some have set rates, most negotiate within a range depending on the project, client, and quantity, so your best bet is to contact them privately. I'd recommend DeniseJ and InternetAuthor to start.

 

I suggest that you read the threads of writers offering content services. There you would see clients' feedback on the writers' quality of work, reputation, and turn-around time.

Also, check out their iTrader ratings.

 

Well, this is my first post here so I couldn't say that anyone has found me through here really. I'd also be hesitant to describe myself as a 'really good writer'....I'm good enough that I get hired by national newspapers to do OpEds and book reviews occasionally but then I doubt you're really looking to pay those sort of rates (a thousand word OpEd in a UK newspaper pays about $1,100).

However, I have done keyword pieces in the past and am willing to do them again. My prices:

250 Words - $15
400 Words - $20
500 Words - $25

Just Google my name to see examples of longer pieces (there's a few in Google News at present as well).

It depends on your quality of "good." I have several professional writers I can recommend, but it strictly depends on what type of work you are looking for. I'd recommend Jhmattern, Highflyer and Internetauthor to start.

Drop Cheap SEO Services (aka Colin) a PM and check his rates. He has been doing a lot of work on DP.

 

I'm sure you'll find, if you haven't already, that different calibers of writing come with different price tags and different buyers. There are many good, better, and possibly even best writers on the forum - iTrader and requested or available writing samples would probably be the safest route to get a clear understanding of the exact caliber of writing you are seeking. Many writers have links to samples or websites through their signatures.
