Has anyone forgot about a site?

Wasn't sure how to title this thread (or if this is even the right forum for this question), but here goes anyway:

Has anyone ever created a community website, like a forum. Never really promoted it, lost interest and completely forgot about it, only to come back 6 months to a year later to find a thriving community of members interacting with each other?

That is so funny.. It happened to me last month.. I have a forum that I completely forgot and was just going to wait until hosting/domain expired.. Well I got the notice to renew so I went to check it out and noticed I was getting 500 uniques a day with about 50 members posting daily... I also noticed it was a pr6 (from pr3 when I last looked at it)... Needless to say I renewed and am starting to monetize it.

Hmmm... I did have a WordPress site once that I neglected to maintain for a few months and came home one day to find a major infestation of spam links in the comments sections... a liberal dose of editorial salve cured it... does that count? LOL
