Has anyone ever seen clicks this low?

I have just had one of my sites (recently launched) serve 17 adsense ads today with an amazing 9 clicks (this is a site that has fairly steady traffic for a brand new site (50-100 hits per day) and has extremely low clickthrough)...

    The grand total....drum roll please....

    6 cents!

How do you get 9 clicks and 6 cents - has anyone ever had something similar?

With the public service announcements you get a penny right?

Public Service Ads don't give you any money.

What is your niche? It could be either that you have a low-paying niche or you do not have enough data to get an accurate estimate.

You mentioned your CTR is low. Increasing your CTR will increase your eCPM, which, in effect, increases earnings per click.

I'm just shocked you got 9 clicks out of only 17 ads served!

The best way to not let your adsense earning drop is to update with fresh content, otherwise sooner or later you get smart-priced and you end up in s.. =)

I though PS ads you got a penny...hmmm, I just guessed that due to often having no clicks but 1 cent payout.

And I understand you eCPM logic, but still 6 cents..how could each add be a fraction of a cent.

I know - but I am figuring based on payout, that possibly a bot hit me of some sort and Google realizes this and didn't pay me for some clicks or something..

Do you mean for the whole site, or per page? This is a fresh site so I haven't added new content yet, but it does get steady traffic (meaning some traffic each day) and is 90% search engine traffic so I don't want to modify existing content too much..
