Has anyone ever done this, or know someone who did this with adsense?

    Alright I just had this thought, what if someone drove down the street and connected to other peoples networks (its possible, I can connect to 3 right now) and clicked on their own adsense ads. I wouldn't do this because I respect google, and woudn't risk a ban .

    I just had this thought and was wondering if anyone knew someone that has done this. or if it would work.

    My guess would be that google would end up catching on by looking at all the clicks in a certain "area" with ip addresses.

    it would work but its not good to adsense and you might get banned, i wouldnt do it jus get some traffic

    They watch patterns aswell so if you did this everyday or every other day they would pick up on it.

    Your guess is right, they may be wondering why most of your clicks originated from a same geographical area.

    From the whole world, clicks will only come from same IP or same set of IPs every day.

    Do you think Google is not that smart to catch such thing? and count these clicks as invalid clicks.

    Yes, do not do this, just focus on building traffic and content. The same goes for surfing from coffee shop to coffee shop to just click your ads... not a good idea.
