I figured if I typed "automated three way traffic links" into google, any page that ranked near the top had to be pretty good. THe number one seleciton was a free service (with an upgrade option) called SEOZar.com .... I put a piece of code on my site, and it says it's generating links for me. The links going off my site seem to go to decent, relavent sites. I've noticed a slight increase in bot traffic, but that's often aribitrary anyway. Has anybody else used them?
I hear speculation that articles help with SEO, however has anyone actually noticed any improved search engine ranking improvements from just from the backlinks created from the article publishing.. If everyone has 3 links to their domain, and you are just 1 article out of several, several thousands listed on the site you post one, I'm under the impression, that absolutely no pagerank will be passed to your site because of this.. I think I read somewhere, that google doesn't really look at passing pagerank from one site to the next, if the site has something over 10 other outbound links listed on the same page.. I always hear people mentioning the benefit of the backlinks, but have never heard any comments of them actually helping with their rankings, and if, how much they helped.. Also, most sites that have a lot of pagerank and our in the top 10 in search results, I never found them posting in any type of article directory or blog.. Can anyone comment on any before and after results?
Interesting point you brought on here scott. I honestly haven't heard of that 10 outbound thing, but I know that if you have a lot of reciprocal links, then you are hurting your pr. I believe articles DO help you out in markets where the competition is not fierce. If you are trying to rank high for the term cars then you need some other methods. Simple terms however shouldn't be a problem.
