Has anyone else seen MUCH better results on YPN (rather than Adsense)

For whatever reason Yahoo only records like 1/4 the clicks that Google does, but it pays me more than twice Google does. I guess maybe Google just gets me crappy keywords, I dunno. But YPN has been very, very good to me.

They are not tracking the same thing.

Yahoo tracks Ad Unit Impressions (A page may contain more than one ad unit) while Google tracks "page impressions".

For example if you had 1 ad on each page for each you would expect the results to be pretty close to the same.

What is important is that you gauge your actual traffic to a page/site and see how much you are earning per visitor.

YPN does pay more per click for me, but that doesn't mean that I make more money with them (Depends on the niche), because Google is displaying more relevant ads at this point.

That shouldn't effect the number of clicks I see though. Sure it'll effect CTR, but the discrepancy in number of clicks is just not right. Oh well, I'm not complaining, as long as they pay me good.

I think recently the # of clicks that have gone down for some people have been due to either YPN losing advertisers or for a technical glitch. Many publishers are reporting that ads are not showing up on some sites.

Has anyone else noticed a BIG increase in earnings the past couple of days.

My site hasn't changed anything, but in the past couple of days, earnings have skyrocketed.

I hope this isn't some fluke.

I keep going back and forth between days where I make less than $1 followed by days where I make $4 or $5 so I'm averaging just over $2.25 a day. It irritates me when I have a day of $0.30 or $0.40 ads and then its followed by 3 days of $0.09 ads

If you're talking about YPN, it's been just the opposite for me. Last week I saw my best earnings of all time but this week has been total crap.

I was doing pretty well until ads stopped showing on the majority of my pages. I really hope YPN fixes that soon. =/
