Everything has been going great over the last year with my main site. It is a chat room website with cams and mics and has gone from strength to strength. Today though, totally out of the blue, my stats are almost half of yesterday and a third of the highest day this last 2 weeks! It is not looking too good, I am worried something could have happened, is there anything I can check? Thank you.
I did notice that my chat site was fluctuating quite dramatically in the SERPS today. It has been pretty steady these past few months, but suddenly dropped almost a hundred positions in the big G. I'm waiting now to see if things go back to normal. I hope this is just a temporary glitch.
Not much. One of my sites did show a very slight increase in the traffic while the others are performing as usual. Also the search results are the same. Some slight changes in traffic and search rankings is normal. Just keep a track of your traffic for a week or so. If it continue to fall then its a matter of concern for you.
but my site get the best traffic along lans 3 month... But, I don't know what the problem of yours...

Yes it is my traffic from Google that has changed. I have had some good info from the Google forum and made some important changes to my site. I have enbled Gzip compression on most files. I have deleted a link exchange program that I was signed up to (for 3 years!) I have searched through the keywords to find that some of the most important search terms I was getting high rankings for have dissapeared for my site. I have changed H1 tags and added a H2 tag to try and get these search terms back. I have also created seperate pages with more different content about the chat rooms based around the more popular search terms. I have deleted a video search script that was grabbing data from Youtube and creating searchable pages with the grabbed content. I only installed this script to try and keep the traffic on my site and the bounce rate down, that was obviously a mistake! I have deleted a low traffic chat room from the site to free up some server usage and lower the bounce rate. I am looking for more things that may have annoyed Google in some way, the last thing I want to do is lose all of my traffic for too long! I am still searching through forums for more info on SEO and Google to get back in the game!
