My search rankings shave improved since I found about Google Suggest. http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en
I type in anything that bears some relevance to the keywords for my website and Suggest gives me a list of the highest searched for keywords.
I then try and include as many of the resulting phrases on my site .

It is useful when researching keyword phrases especially when you use is with the digitalpoint keyword suggestion tool. For instance which keywords have more competition? is it better to target the singular or plural version etc.

What are the "Results" listed in with the search.

is that how many requests they get for the keyword?

    ie... Widgets 590,000 results

Dziku, none of us really know. :) Check the forums of DP, we all just speculate when the new PR will be active, if another ranking system can cover it, if Co-op really is so great, when the new backlinks updates are... We just discuss. Thats why a synonim for Forum is Discussion Board ;)

Just give your point of view. To me its as valueable as that of everybody else.

    My Answer:
To me its quite useless as I am mainly active in niche and local (dutch keywords) markets. I dont know any good thing as Google Suggest tools here, except as Adwords which gives a lot of keywords. But what do I know? ;)

I've never found it of any use, then again half of googles new features aren't really useful, they need to stop innovating and concentrate on the core features.

It is like any tool. It's only useful if you know how to wield it.

i read somewhere that google employees are encouraged to spend a day out of their work week working on a project of their choice. if it's true, it makes sense why there are so many tools that come out of google. for a small project like that, google is just going with the flow and there are obviously some people in their team who find it useful or at least interesting to work on (perhaps due to some AI involved)

Tis True. Google employees are forced to spend about 20% of their time on their own projects. It keeps their people sharp, unstressed and happy.

Suggest is great. I was looking for more detail on how it worked so I typed in "Google Suggest". Immediately I'm presented with "Google Suggest Dissected". The first link was that of guy who took Google's Javascript uncompressed and explained it. I wouldn't have thought about enterring "dissected" in my search term until I saw that it had nearly 90,000 entries.
