My site is fully indexed by G but today when I logged in the sitemaps webmaster account on Google, it is mentioning that my site is not indexed. If I do site:mysite.com then I see all the indexed urls!!

So is it just a issue with google sitemaps webmaster site:) or are they dropping my site:( ?

Look at the thread on the google-sitemap problem.

The question is not relevant to that one. In that thread, the user has issues with sitemap itself and My question is more related to Google mentioning that my site is not indexed in the tool but it is in the SE.

Have noted the same issue with a site a few days ago. As of today sitemap is still telling me the exact same thing, but monitoring my pages and where they rank for their specefic kw's they're slowly climbing the ranks.

I can't shed further light on the subject for you but I can say that from where I stand things seem to be fine with my site....not sure if there is a mixup b/w datacenters or what but all my pages are in from what i am seeing from searching for them.

Does the indexed urls are your pages? If it is, then don't worry, your site is indexed by google, and forget your sitemap.

It's doing it for me. All my sites listed in Google Sitemaps show as not being indexed but a site: search shows it is indexed. Glad to see it is a known glitch that will work itself out.

I have the same problem with one of my sites and Vanessa Fox of Google was kind enough to answer my message and say that they know about the issue and are working on fixing it. No timeline was given, but that's OK as long as G knows about the issue.

My index dropped from 149 to only 20+ in 1 week. I wonder what is wrong. I did not do anything to my blog. Just added posts.
