An interesting claim. Do you have any more information on this or are speculating. As it is a metasearch engine, I see it no differently as another search engine.

http://mamma.com/info/about.html does provide an overview which seems like other meta search engines.

There are far too many of these little search engines that do not get a seond glance from users since google and yahoo are too dom inant in this field. I wonder what a new search engine has to do to try and get a sizeable share. Perhaps it wis branding through marketing, a bit like Ask is doing in recent times.

It was quite good...used to display results from all the majors and
was useful to see yourself displayed several times back in the days when
you could get top listing just by adding good meta tags ...which the few of us who picked up on this made a killing in the early days :)

    I got www.mamma.co.uk
and don't know what to do with it....had it parked to another domain for years and it used to get a lot of traffic from people just typing the domain in the address bar - took it off now as I'm sure its helping push our sites down the rankings a tad now by having multiple domains parked to same account.

Anyway....What would you do www.mamma.co.uk folks?
