that you see in some adsense ad boxes. They usually have a few ads in the boxes as well. I have yet to click one yet. Does it lead you to more ads or do the publisher get paid as soon as someone cliks on them.
Good question. I think they lead to a landing page with ads related to the image's subject similar to Google search results. I'm not completely sure, though, since I'm paranoid about clicking on any Google ads.
I am seeing them now on many of my ads but haven't clicked them for fear of "clicking my own ads" Does anyone know what they actually open? I would err on the side of caution and leave them alone.
They just bring up a page like when you do a search. So you can click on the image on your own site, but not the results. Also, I've clicked on some, but they don't always load the page for me.
