Has Anyone changed BG Color on adsense for search? Illegal?

    I want to use adsense for search on a new site, but the shit, black, or grey just doesn't blend/fit.

    Would it be totally against TOS to change this?

    The only time you can change the bg for the search tool is when you click on " "Google Search" on button" (when you take out the Google logo). A new set bg colors shows up in the drop down list or you could designate an html code for bg color.

    The rule of thumb is that, if it can't be changed in the Adsense CP, it can't be changed outside it.

    Changing background of searchbar is accepted,it is not against TOS,i have applied the same in my site also.

    It's alloed. SO problem with TOS.

    You can change the RGB here for changing search box back ground.

    Also you can change this for changing search results' back ground color.
