Has anybody's Facebook Profile Name changed?

A friend of mine has her own business, and as such has her own FB page for it.
Yesterday when browsing her page i noticed that her profile name was miss-spelt. I emailed her to let her know and she can't understand it, obviously she can't belive she typed it wrong when she set up the account, surely someone would have noticed already. Does anyone know if a profile name can change by itself (know that sounds silly) or because of some sort of glitch?
Also apparently FB can't alter it, does anyone know if this is right also?

page names can't be changed EVER, groups can be changed, and user profiles can.

Hi - think you can change it. Get 100 or maybe 150 fans and you can get a vanity url. You can't do this for a normal profile but if it is a fan page or some such thing then you probably can do that. If your business is called Brass Fagpie you can have www.facebook.com/brassfagpie once you have enough fans. I can't remember how to do it but if you go google and just stick in vanity url facebook it'll tell you there. It definitely works - I am in a band and I did it for us www.facebook.com/michaelandthebiscuitfaeces

    You down wit dat Abdullah?

To correct the above post you need 25 fans to have a vanity url and it CAN be done for any page, personal profile, fan page, app profile.

As far changing the fan page (nothing to do with the url) you can not. The best option if the amount of fans is low is to create a new fan page with the correct spelling.
