It seems some people have had great success with this content generation software "A domain using only Kwikcontent sold for $9,000 on Sitepoint!": I'm very skeptical though and think it could be a marketing ploy to boost sales http://www.kwikcontent.com Has anybody had success with this?
It's not a marketing ploy. It's true. I just tried to sell another site using it. The highest bid got to only $2,000, so I didn't let it go. Here's the auction that sold for $9k: sitepoint.com/marketplace/auction/12033 Here's the one that got a high bid of $2k: sitepoint.com/marketplace/auction/16493 The person who bought the site for $9k did so back before the software got out of beta. He just bought a copy of the newest version 1.0. It works quite well, I assure you. I'd like to hear from anyone that doesn't think so.
Hi, thanks for the reply. It just seems too good to be true. I mean what would happen if 2 people started a site in the exact same niche? And I think this will get really saturated as I'm sure you've got lot's of sales of the software from both auctions. So could I setup 10 sites with kwikcontent and would all generate passive income? thanks, Keith
It seems that the software will copy contents from here and there and then form the contents of the website. But I wonder if there will be problems of duplicate contents.
In theory it is possible for two sites to be exactly the same. Because it's all based around a hierarchy of up to 100 keywords though, I think this would be difficult to achieve. But, let's assume it did... There are two factors that should make one site "better" than the other: 1) Domain name quality 2) Date of creation And that also assumes the users have not used any of the built in tools to load their own unique content onto the sites. There have not been a "ton" of copes sold yet. We have yet to launch much marketing on the product yet. As of today, less than 20 copies of Kwikcontent have been sold. For those that want to "get in first," now is the time. There will be a big push to get this to the masses soon.
I appreciate your input. Nice header by the way. Do you think it will help me to have my sites listed on multiple web hosting accounts? I just moved one site over to ehostone. They have a $1 account where I can host one domian for a dollar per month. I will see if a unique ip helps an old site I've had for a while. What I don't know is how much "up-time" they have.
