As far as I am aware, joining Yahoo as a publisher is not free anyway, so Adsense still remains a good starting option.

Clearly these commenters are not part of the program. I am.

And yes many people have "tried" it. Why would you expect otherwise. The program exists.

You can not compare earnings. And it's irrelevant unless you can participate. It's like comparing earnings between 2 NBA players on the same team.

    It's apples and oranges.

There are many other networks, so why not try those ones, and compare the revenue? There is Kontera, AdBrite, Bidvertiser, Infolinks and many others.

The earnings pretty much depend on your website theme, as the competition in ads vary a lot.

i think they accept international users, but just on a selective basis. I saw many ads from big companies from my country (Romania), but when i acces the YPN, they say that i have to be from USA. there is a trick somewhere :)

I havent ever tried it but as I heard some of my friends, you cant earn much with Yahoo tools. Google's Adsense is the way that should be followed.

Problem with YPN is that it displays irrelevant results to the content due to lack of publishers, simple as that - which lowers ROI unless you have a very general site. Adsense is having problems too lately, especially with publishers not wanting to be in the 3rd party display sites.

I'd say it depends on how big your site is. Yahoo will only accept high traffic websites, at least in most parts of the world. I'm sure it will generate decent earnings but I'm also sure that Adsense will outperform them anytime.

I can tell you with 110% certainty that YPN does NOT generate decent earnings due to pathetic CTR and poor ROI. The ads are just no enough and not relevant too much of the time.

The best earnings with AdSense are made if your website is about finance/financial topics/banking or similar topics.

I used adwords before, still not sure why my account was banned by Google. Right now I switch to FB ads, not sure Yahoo Network has good conversion and ROI.
