Has anybody successfully got out of Google Panda?

I have a site that was hit by panda the moment it was started because I made a mistake that caused hundreds of empty/same content pages to be indexed (about 700) and after struggling with returning 404 and robots.txt to correct the my mistake and get them out of the index, I found that there is no way but to use the Webmaster tools removal tool, Now after 2 months of them being removed the panda didn't leave my site alone, every time I optimize my site and traffic reaches a certain level google slaps the site ranking and pushes it about 5 pages behind in ranking, I have invested a lot in this website and it's too late to start a new site. I think google panda is the stupidest thing ever, I know some websites that have over 2000 pages and every single page is a (spinned version of the same content) and they are ranking so good after panda. while my site that have all unique contents is still punished for a mistake that was made 4 months ago.

Is there any way to escape this stupid panda?

Google panda isn't stupid, its just a way of watching or stopping useless sites from filling the search engine. And yes if your site is hit, you should improve your seo tactics.

Its almost impossible to get away from it if your dup content issue is with deleted content, epecially your own.

Google remembers the deleted content the way it was originally even after it was gone. Really annoying. It is SO hard to get stuff removed from Google's clutches.

I have some sites that never got into panda. One thing to keep in mind is that even without panda Google has pushed the organic results down on the page, and there is a lower click thru rate, especially for those phrases that have ads showing.

Google been trying to get rid of crappy sites out of search result for long time. Its just happen they have stronger algorithm right now but people can't blame them. They've been sending information and indication that crappy sites should be filtered from past years and most people in the internet ignore it. I'm sorry what happened to your site, but don't be discouraged for you know now what to do..

There may be some other reason why your site gets slapped, IF its new, it may be sandbox effect (i have heard about that), and yes, you said that many duplicate sites are still working fine, this may be because a strong online presence or they have not simple get caught by google yet.

I'd make sure you've corrected all possible problems then submit a Google reconsideration request. That's helped me in the past.

Panda is an algorithm change, so there's not much of a way out of it. If you got hit, then you might try improving your content and getting more links from other sites in your niche, instead of manufacturing links.

I hаd thе ѕаme thing happen to mе aftеr thе recent Panda updates. The main reason I got penalized bу Panda wаs becаusе a lot оf mу links wеre low quality e.g. low quality directories.

I'm nоt ѕurе whаt happened with yоur site sinсe you didn't leave аny details. Perhaps yоu neеd tо build mоre high quality links to yоur website? Or рerhaрs yоu havе ѕome duplicate content on yоur website? I suggest уou research Google and learn mоre аbоut thе Panda updates, аnd seе why it mіght have affected уоur website.

My websites passed very good the Panda update 2.5, one has better positions now but the same traffic like before. The number of pages indexed are the same, more then 2200.
Panda update cannot be escaped by anybody. You need to work in the benefit of your site not against it.
Just be realistic and start another project if this one is dead or almost dead, you will save time and money.
On the new project try to work without investing money, invest work, lots of hours of online work. With a new website you have better chances to achieve succes if you don't make more mistakes like in the past.

New to this forum but thought I would chime for what it's worth.

We haven't seen hardly any decline with any of the above noted Panda release - our theory is pretty simple... Focus on genuine, unique content, a positive user experience (actually readable stuff) and solid on page tactics combined with building back links via custom, again readable content.

This no doubt takes a little bit more work but even with a spread of low to mid PR permanent backlinks through our network of sites and within the niches we operate in via old fashioned networking (no directories, no comment spam etc.) we are seeing quick and lasting results for company and client owned sites.
