Yes, P. Marshall's book is great, but there's a lot information online for free, so there's no need to buy it. Simply reading the book won't make you a professional, but you can learn a lot in order to get started with some great knowleadge.

Before investing in the book, make sure to post to related forums, sign up for email courses, etc.

I really liked it. It has a step by step guide and everything you need to know to get started. For anyone that is a new, I think its a great value. Sorry, I don't agree with everyone :)

Advertising is all about Study and research and then application and back to Study and research. Tough is not it?

Yes Perry Know a lot of tricks and I have read that and a lot many from People like Google Cash's Carpenter, Andrew goodman and many more.

Each Book is based on its creater exp. And so it is unique. I will suggest to have atleast on book, If you are not ready to thow money, try to get hold on such forum which are mine of Gold. Wonder here and there for atleast on month and then start your campaigns. It could a costly error if you enter without knowledge.

And start with a Focus and small look. Do not throw money and then cry foul. Many expert will tell you that they themselve lost money Initially.

I have read the book and have liked it, the things he has discussed are gr8, you can learn a lot of things from optimizing your campaigns to reducing your costs.

I would recommend this for beginners who are interested in learning more on adwords.

I've read Andrew Goodman's book and heard great things about Perry Marshall's guide. The problem is that PPC is a moving target...these resources eventually outdate themselves. They also don't cover Yahoo strategies.

We're releasing a free ebook on PPC (AdWords and Yahoo Search Marketing) written for the newbie on April 4. (See signature)

    Hello asi

I've read a lot on Pay per click advertising and I'd stropngly recommend Perry's book as the one to follow (he updates regularly, maintains his knowledge, etc).

I liked it so much I did a video review site of it - it took one of our sites from $0 to $20,000 per day in 16 weeks (all with Google AdWords and nothing else).

    Hope that helps.

$0 to $20,000 per day sounds unrealistic, i dont think even perry marshal makes $20,000 a day :D anyways the question is , is this the best adwords book?

I have read just about everything Perry has written and he is very good, but much of what he teaches you can find online for free though so you may just want to look around online.

Making the $20,000 a day is possible, but you have to become a true PRO!
    1. Read all the forums
    2. Buy the recommended ebooks
    3. Learn the free tips
    4. Sit down and remove the junk (lots of that)
    5. Try what you like and believe in
    6. Keep what works and tweak
    7. Rinse repeat

Most importantly don't try to promote every product on every affiliate site. Find the ones you like, believe in and use yourself.

I have both the Goodman and Marshall books. They cover a lot of the same ground, but I learned a lot from both.

Goodman's book is more polished, has an index, is a real book, and costs signficantly less.

Marshall's is somewhat more current, and is more action oriented (as is his style), but it is only an e-book and is not indexed.

While you can certainly find a lot of this info on the web, that's not the same as reading a good book. A book organizes the material, puts everything in context, can be read in your favorite chair, and (hopefully) contains fewer errors.
