I think that would be considered a TOS violation. Update: Sorry, this doesn't make sense any more - there seems to be a post removed where someone asked for a pointer to a FF referral link.
For some reason I don't see the Firefox option in my referral code page - only the adsense referral. Maybe because I'm from outside the US or something?
In your location i see England... I guess that's why! Firefox referral it's only available for US publishers forkqueue
Sorry for not being caught up on this. But can someone explain to me what one would have to do for this? I know use firefox and adsense, but is there anything else?
Started with it today, and had my first Firefox earnings within the first hour, so they are tracking/paying properly.
I ran the free spreadfirefox links for the last year.... Averaged a few downloads a day. But since I switched over to use the g ads, none. I think the ad banners are not very catchy. I liked the old spreadfirefox ones better.... Wish we could use our own banner.... anyone know if it is possible?
I agree... It would be so nice to be able to have a text link available (which you could of course also use with your own banner ad), but right now it's not possible. If text links were available, there's a couple high traffic places I could put the links for Firefox and AdSense, but the banners they have available just don't work for me.
I'd even be happy with a JavaScript based text link where you pass your anchor text to Google (so they can track it). Something like this: <script type="text/javascript"><!-- google_ad_client = "pub-myadsenseid"; google_ad_format = "text"; google_ad_anchortext = "Click Here For AdSense Signup"; //--></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"> </script> Code (javascript):
Nice, and not difficult to do it. Has anybody asked directly to google if a text link will be available in the future?
