Just wondering if anybody here has successfully snapped names using snapnames.com? How do they rate with the others like pool.com and enom?
When you buy domains from snapnames the domains age dropped .... its not fair.... even they wont refund .... be aware
I tried it but don't like to pay first without guarantee i will get the domain, and not getting refund.
The domain age is not reset when you get the name from snapnames as ikj said before I took for high $XXXX a 10 years PR5, 3 letter LLL.com and kept the age without a problem
Depends on if the name is actually expiring or if the registrar has taken the name and is selling it off rather than letting it expire normally. Do your homework and avoid this problem. I haven't used them lately but in the past they were decent at catching names, it also depends on bid price, higher bid, more resources they devote to a name.
My experiences tells me that the acution always ends with very high bid.. (for expired domains). Now I don't trust it any more.
