I will make a long story short and simply say after receiving two of his newsletters I decided to unsubscribe. However, there was no unsub link for me to click. His NL did not contain an unsub link. To say the least, a poor way to do business. So, I emailed Darby and asked to be removed from his database. And, no, I wasn't rude or nasty because I don't like being treated that way. Here is his answer to my request: Go to the forum and remove your membership. Come on now friend, you signed up for the forum and wanted the benefits, if you don't want an email from us, then delete your own membership so we don't have to do your work for you. Have a great day, good bye!! Paul Darby end of Darby email--- Mind you the benefits consisted of receiving his overly solicitous emails. That's it. Any way, w/o p'ing and moaning, has anybody dealt w/this guy? I don't think I'm being petty because if I get an email from a subscriber asking to be removed, I manually remove them. Let's face facts no law exists that says once you subscribe you have to stay subscribed. Thanks for any input whether through posts or pm's. Tom
I found this link on page 1 of a google search using just his name: http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/200/ripoff0200177.htm I don't know if any of it is true but it is on the world wide web for anyone and everyone to read. Tom
it maybe isnt the best way for him to reply but i wouldnt personally waste my time on something i want no part of login to the forum..unsubscribe..done
I guess it really doesn't matter who he is - hell, we used to raise goats and I bet if I compared him to the goats, they'd win hands down. Just an opinion... Go to michaelsavage.com and read an interesting history on the evolution of civil rights legislation. It doesn't have anything to do w/this guy but one never knows.
