Has anybody bought seobook?

I will just advice you that you dont waste money on this ebook if you really care to buy somthing to learn seo then just buy a course from http://www.searchenginecollege.com

 

My logs drew me here and I'm embarrassed to see that the link to SEC was from some spammer trashing somebody else's ebook! Sorry about that - just wanted to state for the record that I don't know who posted that link and it wasn't me. And I have no beef with Aaron - from what I hear the SEO book is a big hit. I was just about to ask if SEOBook was still up-to-date and found this thread. I'm sorry to see that it's $80, though. I'll have to wait. Which brings me to my other question:

How long do you think it will be up-to-date?

 

when is the next update coming out? I heard it was coming out November

 

Honest to be... if you are a beginner then yes... if no , don't loose the time reading books, and get to work !!!

 

That doesn't make too much sense. If you're not fully aware of every seo area, then you can't "get to work". Plus, Aaron's seo book is updated to meet google's ever-changing algorithms.

Definitely worth it. A great read.

Hi, sorry for bumping an old thread but I was just curious, does anyone know when did SEOBook was last updated?

 

Last major update was a couple months ago, I believe.

 

didn't aaron say there was another one coming out in late october/early november?

 

I bought the book and until now I received 2 e-mails with notifications that new versions are available. The last notification that I got is from 16 May 2006.

Maybe the book was updated in the mean time but I did not received any notifications about it.

Anyway, since I am also interested in the subject, I sent an e-mail asking whether the book was updated since 16 May 2006. I will post the reply here when I get it.

It's a really good SEO resource and I for one am waiting eagerly for the next update, hope it comes very soon, I want to print it out and read it on a long plane journey I have next week!

 

OK, you guys talked me into it. I bought the book. However I'm holding all of you responsable if I don't make make first million by the end of the year!

 

I just updated it today.

Update was a bit slower than I hoped for due to Yahoo! changing their system, other market changes, trying to move, falling in love with a cool girl, and throwing my back out playing tennis. But I can walk again now

Yea, same here. I'll have to check my spam filter, but there's 5000+ in there :argh: I haven't cleaned it out for a few days.
