    I called GoDaddy and spoke with a sales guy.

    He says the best way to buy .info domains now is to buy something else along with them which knocks the price down to $1.99. He says you can buy a $3.99 per month hosting deal then cancel it a few hours later, but this opens the door to buy as many $1.99 .infos as you want.

    I am going to try that out later today.

    Seem like this way not only can register .info at $1.99 but others TLD too.
    But this sound like a bit wried. However I goes to godaddy just now $3.99 per month hosting deal must be pay in bi-monthly, which means u need to pay for $8+ $1.99 +$0.2 = $10.19 first...
