Hi I just went through the Make 10K In A Weekend (http://www.make10kinaweekend.com/ -NOT an aff. link) package by Rachel Rofe and Jaime Mintun and I'm amazed! It's really, really good. It's about hosting your own offline seminars for businesses who are clueless about marketing online. (to the tune of $900 a seat or more) I'm very excited about this! Has anyone else checked it out? Please let me know. Thanks
I heard a bout it but never tried it. If you like and want to write a review of it on my review blog, I will give you a link back to a blog or website of your choice. Good luck with it!
I once sold my SEO expertise to a business and made some nice cash for a little bit of work. You can definitely making a fortune doing this (hold an IM seminar for clueless "real world" business people) if you are an outgoing type person (I'm not.)
It's not stupid. Did you even read the post? It works like gangbusters if you actually do it, or so I've heard. I actually heard about this stuff from Willie Crawford, and he's not your typical scammer.
lemonarian The girl in the video is just killing me It seems like, someone gave her ten bucks to talk some BS in the video
i wouldn't target businesses, my market would be individuals. Not sure why you would need to buy a package? once your earning 2000+ you have the experience, just need to create a buzz in your local area..
Yes, I have gotten a hold of it. Summary...Put up ads for seminar in the classifieds and spam your business cards. Most seems like basic PRL material. Instruct old people who don't know hot to turn on their computer on how to make money on the internet by SEO and the other boring basic stuff. Not worth the money.
I would think that it would be somewhat difficult to convince people to pay a large fee to attend your weekend class, especially if you weren't well known. For example, if someone approached you and tried to get you to pay $900 to attend a weekend class, wouldn't you want to know what qualified that person to teach you? Has he had some phenomenal success? Have you ever heard of him? Does he have proof or a guarantee that his methods will work for you? It seems like I'm always getting weekend 'training' offers that are staged at big local hotels. The sessions, almost without exception, are free and even include a fancy meal. These offers cover a variety of different topics, such as investing, retirement planning, selling on the internet, etc. With all that sort of competition out there, I would think it would be difficult to get people to willingly part with a sizable 'enrollment' fee, especially if they never heard of you. If you were to do this, how would you get in touch with prospective attendees? How would you convince them to give you their money? I agree that if you could pull this off, the payoff could be enormous. But I don't think it would be easy to make it happen. If anybody on the forum has actually tried this, please post your results. Thanks!
