Has any one tried PPV yet?

    Soooo,

PPV (pay per view) came up in one of my threads and I figured I'd start a new one solely on this topic. I know it's somewhat adware but someone mentioned that they've been using it and suggested that I give it a shot.

    Input anyone?!

PPV in my experience generally does worse than text ads. When google bought YouTube this was the idea that they had in mind and they thought it would bring massive revenues, but the truth is that it hasn't delievered anywhere near what was expected. Perhaps it's because the beauty of text link adverts is that they blend with page content, especially if you blend the colour scheme to that of your own website. However PPV advertising sticks out like a sore thumb, which perhaps turns people off. You can access PPV through your adsense account if you have one by displaying youtube adverts

PPV is not applicable to SEO.

PPV is much unreliable, you will pay more even your site loads on a pop up. Not a good idea IMO.

Wow lots of bad advice so far.

PPV/CPV (same thing) traffic can be very profitable. In fact some very large affiliates are using it right now to make a mint.

It helps if you know what you're doing first though.

PPV can be profitable if implemented well on the right site with high traffic, but honestly most people fail at it.

I've heard some good things about them. The course RapidMassTraffic uses LeadImpact as their lead source of traffic. Haven't tried it yet but will in the future
