No, don't buy traffic, it's almost always a waste. The companies who are selling you traffic are just selling you cheap autosurf traffic. I heard of one putting pages with a bunch of iframes into a traffic exchange and getting 10-20 hits for one.
It's always wiser to buy a textlinks or spent on dirs submission or article submission. getting 1 real visitor that click ads is much better than 1000 auto traffic which give you nothing but stat.
