    I have watched both movies and I go for Harry Potter.. The latter has more thrill plus I like the actors.. They are all great.. :)

    The HP plot and characters interest me more. I never found LotR interesting although most males would prefer LotR over Harry Potter for some reason.

    LOTR is just so much more mature than HP - I honestly don't go to see the HP movies in the cinema because I know it will be crammed full of kids!

    Now that the new movie is out it looks like Harry Potter is catching up quite fast!

    Lord of the Rings! It has such a rich and dense history to it. The characters are so great, and the story itself is very powerful. Simply put, the magnitude of the conflicts in LOTR are astounding
