Harry Potter's US publisher is suing 2 companies for dispatching copies of the book before the agreed time. the publisher also asked people who've received it to put it on a side and don't read it! read more at 5hr.org
I'm not even sure why they asked people not to read the book. like that's gonna stop them any idea how much they're suing for?
i assume you're talking about the internet version, this is about the official printed version that was accidentally(or not) released by retailers. though i read somewhere that beside the real leak version there was many other fake versions released from 4-6 month before the official release! yeah that's so stupid to me too, the kid waited years for the book and now he's supposed to not read the book while it's on his desk! who can resist that?! i have no idea!
I really don't get why people are so into Harry Potter. It seems like a foolish fantasy story to me. Read something real man! Something like Malcolm X's autiobiography as told by Alex Haley
well it's more of a children's book and usually they're the ones who control the family! and i think it's successful because kids at that age all like fantasies and this one is about a kid their age with their problems like school and sometimes adult problems like saving the world from evil!
I don't get all the hype about a children's books. I guess I don't understand since I don't have kids yet.
There are less than 48 hours to go until the book goes on sale. I just don't see how it makes that much of a difference to wait 2 days and then you can buy it like everyone else. It's all about the hype now and not about whether the book is any good or not.
