WTH!!!... I hate spoilers.. I dont buy Harry being hocrux either, Voldermot isnt so stupid that he wouldnt know if harry was a hocrux, thus he wouldnt try to kill him.. Edit: And that hacker spolier is nothing but a cheap shot of fame.. thats not the style of J.K. Rowling..
This might be going into the realms of speculation- but if Harry is indeed an horcrux, Voldemort is possibly trying to kill that part of Harry which is Harry and not the part containing the horcrux. I have no idea how the Avada Kedavra works- A horcrux cannot possibly be destroyed by a mere AK. Another question, how did Voldemort possess Harry at the Ministry at the end of the fifth book? Possession isn't something easy, and there might have been something of Voldemort inside Harry which enabled him to possess the boy. But I do not believe that Harry is an horcrux.
Ah, but if Harry was a Horcrux, it would violate the prophesy. Voldemorte is still alive within him if he was one, and only one of them can live in the end. It would be illogical.
1st Thing: Voldermort Dies...........oh yeah [:|] 2nd Thing: Harry Lives (From the logic that voldemort and harry both cant die, thats ridiculous)

The most popular interpretation of the prophecy ensures that only one of Voldemort and Harry will live in the end. If Harry was indeed a horcrux and was killed by Voldemort (keeping the part of Voldy's soul intact), it would still fulfill the prophecy as Potter dies and Voldy lives. The other interpretation, as I have seen on one of the fanfiction sites, about the ''other''- the other is Neville Longbottom... neither can live while the other survives.

Well, a warez forum I work for just obtained a leak, though this one has been out for about 2 weeks now. The book is 695 pages, and from what I've read, is very well written. If it's not the real thing, you can just call it an extra Harry Potter book. Here's the link, if anyone would like it. EDIT: I read over DP TOS again to post this, and it seems intact, but incase it's not right, feel free to delete the post altogether.
