Hi all...I know this isn't a networking forum but I thought someone might be able to help...

I am wanting to setup a public WIFI zone in a high traffic outdoor area. The area is about 40m (120ft) by 20m (60ft) but pretty much open aside from a few trees and powerpoles.

My plan is to provide free WIFI, but users must set up an account to use it. I would also like to limit each account holder's use to a set hourly limit per day (maybe 2 hours or something).

Another good option would be the ability to add more hours (or buy unlimited use for a day/week) to an account with a credit card (or voucher bought from a local store). This isn't essential however.

    My questions are as follows:

    - Is there any software that I can buy that can do this? I have seen Tomizone, Hot Spot System and a couple of other similar ones, but they all ask for a monthly fee. Is there anything that offers an outright purchase with no ongoing fees?

    - Which router should I use?

-It will probably need to go outside so will need weatherproofing. Any recommendations on that?

    - I assume I'll need a long range antenna, do I? Any recommendations on these?

Thanks so much in advance!! :)
