Ok, after just joining here, I decided to go check my Adsense account for the first time in about 2 months and I know my site is not very popular, I have had troubles with it but finally getting around to update it now. Well when I chaecked I had $1.87 in there for al time, and I have been joined to there and using it for about a year now.

Wonder if anyone laughed?? lol, well my question is how can I increase the amount of revenue I get from google adsense and any extra tips for creating a successful website in junction with adsense would be lovely.

Sorry if I have posted this in wrong place, but im new and there are alot of forums here and it gets confusing, lol, thanks.

My problem is a lack of traffic i think due mainly to a lack of content for users, like i said I have had a few troubles with my site over past few months, but am working on my site more now to add more content in order to generate hopefully more traffic.

My url I cant seem to post, guess because im new, it is, www. ffusite .net and I havent read that yet, will do now, thanks

After looking at that post you made I see where i can improve, currently I only have one ad on my pages, and thats in a white zone on the heat map, so I am going to take some of the hints used in your topic to place some ads, any suggestions and tips would be great

I recommend you download and read free copy of http://mycps.sitesell.com/ by Site Build It!. Not so much to buy the product but understand the principle on how they create successful websites using quality content.
If you build keyword focus quality content, continue to add quality pages to it and work hard on building links. Within a few months, you would see traffics. It's hard work i know, but that's the only way to stay long and profitable in website business.

FFUniverse has a Page Rank of zero. Read SEO Tips: Link Building.

The site has a bunch of dead links which need to be fixed or removed.

    http://www.ffusite.net/ff1/
    http://www.ffusite.net/ff2/
    http://www.ffusite.net/ff3/

    http://www.ffusite.net/ffdoc/
    http://www.ffusite.net/fftsw/
    http://www.ffusite.net/ffu/

I would fix all of the broken links I could find and then run Xenu Link Sleuth against the site to find the rest of the broken links.

And you are right -- you definitely need a significant amount of new content. Currently, there is very little reason for anyone to visit your site or to link to your site[/url]

Also, your topsites list is broken:

Warning: main(/home/ffuniver/public_html/includes/top.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/ffusiten/public_html/ff12/index.php on line 219

Warning: main() [function.include]: Failed opening '/home/ffuniver/public_html/includes/top.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/ffusiten/public_html/ff12/index.php on line 219
    Code (markup):
Basically -- you site needs a lot of good old fashioned TLC.

Yeah, you kinda caught me at a bad day, I am currently redoing my site and cleaning up the code behind the scenes, one thing I am doing is making it alot easier for me to add content, by making pages using php includes. The reason you getting most of the errors is cause im still going through and doing it.

One of the reason I found it so hard to add content to my site was that the code was a mess and me trying to add something became just too hard that I gave up and focused on my wap site, but now with this new version I am doing currently, it will eb alot easier, so hopefully check back infew days and site should be error free and working perfectly with alot more content.

One other reason things are empty there is because last week my old host terminated my account suddenly and I couldnt get my files, I didnt make regular backups so that kinda set me back a bit, but I make regular backups now.

the reason u get that includes error is because I hadnt got to that page yet and it is still using my old servers server path, my new host is different, so have yet to change it. And about the page rank, if u actually check ffusite .org, the page rank last time i checked it was 4, that is my domain that i used to use as my main domain, but changed it to net because it is better than a .org domain and I had to abandon it because it was attacked by DDOS attacks a few times before and it drains my bandwith because it has several hundred hits a minute to an image file that doesnt exist anymore, its from ppl adding my topsites code to a page where they have hundreds of others, they just leachers, thats why.

Use a 301 Redirect to forward the old domain to the new domain.

Then, use .htaccess to prevent people from hotlinking to your images.

    Traffic brings money

Targeted traffic brings more money :)

    Have this in mind

Start complaining when you have like 500 vizitators/day and you get pennies

DON'T use Xenu i used it about an hour ago and it deleted my whole database. It accessed my control panel and delete.php while checking for broken links. That deleted every image in my db. I don't have any backups so it's actualy my fault partualy. But this suck anyway.

You can earn some good money only if you have some traffic also.

I think the best choose for small websites is to try with referral buttons.

    Cheers!

More content and many more links is what you need.

According to yahoo, you have 10 inlinks to your site, and 9 of them are from the same site, so basically 2 links.

You gonna need hundreds upon hundreds more to get some organic traffic.

Add more links, update your content and then employ some traffic building strategies because traffic = money.

Just use a CMS. This way its pretty easy to add content and update the site as and when you need to. The most importnat thing though is getting lots of traffic to the site.

I'm in pretty much the same situation... a year after starting and only halfway to payout :(

Looking for better paying keywords would be one way to help increase your earnings.
