Not sure about you folks, but I find the hardest part of Adsense to be stopping certain other ads from showing. And that is not all the time. Usually, most pages where I have Adsense, the right ads show up. But for a few pages where I would prefer products and not competitors, its a real fight. For example, I just started a "landscape verdict" section, to comment on landscape I photograph. It seems essential to use the word "yard" rather than "landscape". And the image tags seem to need "greenhouses" added rather than "landscape design" so that product ads show up. Otherwise, landscapers and maintenance companies from all over get ads shown. The filter seems pointless. Its virtually useless to filter competitor ads, because there are too many. And due to the sloppiness of companies around the USA managing their adwords, ads can come in from New Jersey, Texas, you name it. I used to have a page on Figures of Speech in the Bible. And would have expected Google ads for bibles, biblical archeology, etc.. Instead, Google picked up on the "FIGURES" word and displayed "ACTION FIGURES" ads instead. The filter I would love to see from Google, is a code snippet they would allow in the <head> of our pages, where we are allowed to list 1, 2, or 3 words on our site that we want them to avoid in relation to keywords people have bid on.
