Hard drive question

    I want to buy a new laptop and put the hard drive from an old laptop into it. How do I know which laptops will work with the hard-drive that I currently have?

    My current laptop is a Gateway nv53a56u if that helps answer the question.

    You may not want to do that necessarily, if you are doing this to your main C drive it may mess things up.

    I would just move the files you want to keep into Cloudstore like drop box, then move them over to your new laptop.

    Why you are trying to use your old hard drive laptop with your new laptop?
    you can use them as a usb backup harddrive with little extra bucks.

    for your note: your laptop performance will go downgrade if you will the hard drive as primary/boot partition and install OS on it.

    yes your hard drive is work correctly with your laptop .
    Any hard drive is working to any laptop easily .
