Hard Drive Enclosure Question?

    Hey,

    I'm trying to transfer files from a laptop to a desktop computer.

    This is the enclosure I have: http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0280366 It's suppose to be "SATA"?

    This is the hard drive:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/431406-001-NEW-HP-DV6000-Hard-Drive-100GB%2f5400RPM_W0QQitemZ360182379961QQcmdZViewItem

    It's also "SATA"?

    So they both seem to be "SATA" but for some reason the sockets don't match?

    Any idea why?

    It looks like an old model hard drive. Yeah and the sockets are different on that image.
