    Hello Adsense oldtimers !

I am preparing for an Emergency !
What are the precautions necessary, if the hard disk of my pc, on which I view my ADSENSE account, crashes ? Which details need to be backed up ?
Can Adsense oldtimers throw light on this ?

    huh?

Adsense is an online service, nothing to do with your hard disk

If it is only the machine from which you view your adsense account status, then you only need your AS account credentials as mentioned above. If you have saved CSV files with additional analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel or Sigmaplot, then you should back those up as well.

If you have your CONTENT hosted on this machine - err switch to your BCP right away... :)

You should really look into one of those hand-crank laptops.

Thanks to all. But I will share some more experience. Once I cleared all my history/cookies of sites visited through firefox explorer. Later on I was not able to view my account, except that for "tdoay". All previous earning details were refused. Then I set a tick mark in firefox configuration where it asks the user if he wants the sites to store cookies . Only after this, it was normal.

but it does make you wonder.. does google back up all the affiliates data somewhere?

what if california falls into the ocean... ?

hopefully all the online giants have good backups somewhere...
