Harassing for work

    Ugh.. For the last few weeks I've been getting harassed by a writer on DP. I don't even remember giving him my email address but this guy keeps sending me IMs ( I don't chat with anyone... ) I think I have told him like 10 times to leave me alone but again a few minutes ago I get a message from him saying " Hi... any work?" COME ON! There are much better ways to ask for work if you are looking for some.

    Honestly I'm not a mean person but this guy is bugging me so much that I feel like leaving him negative feedback just to teach the guy a lesson. I'm just fed up with it and super pissed.. Plus I have never even hired him for anything.. so it's not like I have worked with him before and he has a "right" to even email me.

    Anyone ever been harassed like this... What did you do? Advice would be wonderful right now!

    Have you tried contacting one of the admins. I guess give him some work and leave a negative feedback! But then he might bother you even more...

    Didn't even think of contacting the admins.. Both actually sound like nice ideas! However he might get upset and leave me a negative as well..

    I actually told him that and he didn't seem to care.. still sent another message this morning.

    I placed him onto my ignore list on DP... hopefully that works..

    Block him on im. Second thing would be just completely ignore him, never writing anything back to him. He will quit soon enough.

    It is difficult for me .. I simply don't like hurting peoples feelings and I rather avoid it completely. At this point I am just tired of being bugged but I still don't want to go to the extreme and hurt a person's feelings because I am upset. So yes it is that difficult.

    Anyway.. I blocked him and ignored him on Dp. I think the issue is finally closed now. Thank you for all the advice everyone. :)
