Haha, this was gold, in a sad situation sort of way. I see them as equal as well, which makes me question why there is even a woman's day in the first place.
Woman's day is celebrated to show how important they are in our life. This is especially so in places, where they are not treated on par with their male counterparts. Emancipation of woman is still a long way to go in some of the developing and third world countries...
Woman has to play many roles in their life rather than men and one of the important role is "Mother" Any way,i am happy to wish "Happy women's day"
