What really guts me about Valentines Day in the UK is the fact it is tradionally a day to give some red roses to your wife or girlfriend but when they whack the prices of these roses up 3 or 4 times the normal price just for that one day that is day light robbery in my eyes its not the fact that i am tight with money i would say i am the other way with money sometimes but i dont like being taken for a ride either and you guessed it the flowers are back down to the normal price the next day.So what i do these days is go in the shop the day before when they are cheap and keep them in the cool boot of the car then give them next day And yes i have been happly married 27 years this year
so on the actual day are you gonna post the same thread again? i think its a bit too early posting this.
