    Why are people calling it turkey day? Bloody thanksgiving ain't it?

    I'm Scottish so don't celebrate it, but surely calling it turkey day is a bad thing as it's ment to be thanksgiving and remembering the past ain't it?

    Live in Dundee now, go to university here, used to live near Oban (sort of, I was in the same county), why?

    Just wondering, I'm from Australia myself, but my brother is here now and his girl is from Oban, she's in the room with me, so I said I'd ask out of curiosity :rolleyes:
