With 2015 just around the corner, I'm sure everyone's almost ready to party! Well folks, as I look on today at the passing year and say goodbye, my mind races back to all the good and some not-so-good events that have been a part of 2014. For me, one of the most exciting things this year has been my stay on DP. To date, I've learned a lot of new things here especially via the forum discussions. There are memories, good and/or otherwise, we all will carry along to the next year. So how has 2014 on the whole been for you? (Poll above.) What do you look forward to in the coming year? WISHING EVERYONE A VERY PROSPEROUS, SUCCESSFUL, HEALTHY, WEALTHY, CHEERFUL AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR. Thanks in advance. Cheers.
Wouldn't say 2014 was a tremendous year, but it was a good one nonetheless. Internet marketing / local online marketing prospers when the economy is good, so I hope and pray that the US economy would go back up. I hope the US will see its better days again. Wishing the same to you and your respective countries. Happy New Year folks!
Best wishes for a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2015! It is 12 hours and 18 minutes to 2015 and most of us on the east coast of the U.S. are still at work. I happen to have the day off and am headed to lunch with the family shortly.
On this New Year I wish that you all have a wonderful January, a lovely February, a Peaceful March, a stress-free April, a fun-filled May, and Joy that lasts from June to November, and finally a happy December. May you all have a charming and lucky New Year 2015.
Hi there @adamalex. It's never too late to do a good thing. WISH A HAPPY AND A VERY SUCCESSFUL NEW YEAR TO YOU AND @Thamma Vongsa. Cheers.
Happy New Year everyone! I guess I was the only one selecting hell on earth in the poll options. 2014 was by far the worst year of my life, not just the most stressful one but also the most scary one. Unfortunately 2015 has brought on more stress. Let me give you one piece of advice for this new year: Enjoy every minute of your life while you can, because it can take an unexpected turn. Eat well, sleep well, and be nice to others. Help where you can, be generous and kind to all people. Especially, take care of yourself. You only have one body to carry your soul around. Don't mess it up, ever.
Have you watched a lot of horror movies in 2014? Seriously though, you're not the only person I know who had a nightmarish 2014. A dear friend of mine lost his wife in a car accident last year. (Yes, he loved her too much.) He's trying his best to contend with life. All of us face a tough time some day. But we should let the bygones be bygones. Cheer up, try to look at life positively ( …. I know it's not easy) and start afresh. Just because the past has been bad doesn't mean the future too will be so. Live the present to the fullest without worrying about what happened in the past and what will happen in the future. That is what you can truly do. Bad experiences can be considered as stepping stones to good ones. I WISH YOU A HAPPY, PROSPEROUS AND A SUCCESSFUL NEW YEAR. Cheers.
Thanks, Maestro. I'm not as much worried about the past and you actually reminded me that 2014 did have something very good. Through the ordeals, I experienced an unexpected kindness from lots of people, much more than I ever had imagined, and it surprised the heck out of me. I didn't expect it at all. It's the future that stresses and worries me. (Serious health issues). Losing someone you love is the single most hardest thing in life, imo. Best wishes to your friend.
That's why they say every cloud has a silver lining. I can only tell you that stress and worry will aggravate your situation. If you anticipate an exclusively negative outcome, it will most certainly come about. The trick is to remain positive and cheerful despite the problems one confronts. If you maintain an optimistic outlook towards everything stably, you'll slowly notice that your positive thoughts have a wonderful effect on your mind, body and surroundings. Things definitely change for the better only if you make a point to NEVER give up. Losers cry, cry and cry whereas winners try, try and try. I will convey your wishes. Thanks.
