Nice and short tld, especially considering it as a short form for company. Problem it is too close to the widely used .com, some may carelessly surfed to the .com instead of the .co
it is the best alternative to a .com even if many domainers are not keen on it. more appealing to new businesses and entrepreneurs as they can get a decent name rather than settling for a 3 word hyphenated, numbered .com
.co unfortunately did not take off like most people thought. Then again no other TLD has ever come close to competing with .coms. I remember when .mobi came out and everyone went crazy stocking up on those, some lost their shirts.
Absolutely agree with you. But ... But I think that it is just 10 from 1000 people can surf to .com instead of .co
.CO seem growing fast in this two years. Check out the success of .CO domain extension - The total value of .co sales at Sedo since July 2010 is 1.64 million USD; - .Co was the 9th most frequently sold TLD at Sedo in 2011; - Since its introduction, .co has held a strong average sales price above 1,800 USD, and is currently second to .com in mean average sales prices; - The top .co sale at Sedo to date was e.co, at 81,000 USD.
