Best wishes for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year! Looking forward to a great economy and more.
The New Orleans perpetrator was a U.S. citizen who served in the military and somehow got radicalized. The Las Vegas suspect was an active duty military person who seemed to want to commit suicide in a spectacular way. They do not seem to be connected. Of bigger concern than these lone wolves is that the Left has purposely let in tens of thousands of potential terrorists through their insane open borders. How many sleeper cells did that allow China, Iran, Hezbollah, etc., to place in the country? As many as they wanted and they even got free airfare to embed themselves around the country. With the FBI and other government agencies focused on political weaponization against their own conservative citizens, I doubt that we have any type of handle on these cells. You may be right to be worried.
Overall not bad. My whole family is dealing with some kind of bug (probably another variant of covid). We're all way better now, but not quite there yet. How about you?
New Year's Day morning, I slipped going down the stairs and twisted (or otherwise hurt) my knee. In a brace that immobilizes it and am waiting for an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon (yet to be scheduled.) I think that it is getting much better and will not need significant treatment and it got me out of a business trip that I really did not want to go on, so I am withholding judgment as to how the year is starting off.
