Has anyone seen that movie? They say that Will Smith did a great job in that movie..I haven't seen it but I know Will Smith is such a good actor..
Any online distribution of a movie that new screams piracy, doesn't DP have rules against promoting stuff that's illegal?
I watched it a couple of weeks back. Will Smith was great as usual but the movie was a letdown in general. It started of well but somehow halfway the plot twist just screwed it up, went off tangent from there.
According to me Hancock is awesome movie. Will Smith did a great job in this movie. He played a brilliant role in this movie. In this movie he uses his powers to stop the crime.
"A pint? That's very nearly an armful!" Classic line! Shame he got too big for his boots and discarded the people who'd made him famous, Galton and Simpson especially.
I saw it opening weekend and I have to say that the movie is suffering from some sort of bi-polar disorder. The first half was funny and enjoyable about a screw up superhero who tries to get his life in order. Then the second half goes all screwy with a badly written origins story, a poorly conceived and developed weakness and a ton of logical plot holes and idiocy in the script. First half 8.5/10, second half 3/10. Overall 5/10. Rent it, don't buy it, don't see it in theaters.
Hancock was always a bit bi-polar though, that's where a lot of the humour came from. I haven't seen the film but what part does Will Smith play? The Sid James role?
I saw that movie right when it came out and I thought it was real good, although it kinda got weird at the end. I don't understand where those tornadoes came from? Also, I don't think they should have added the crazy criminal guy. They should have added a real villain
The trailer was good and funny. but most reviews said it was such a let down. So I'm just gonna rent dvd for that .
I must be missing something here because I have no idea what you are referring to when you mention the Sid James role. I don't believe that Hancock is a remake of any old movie, and from a quick search of Google and Wikipedia it appears to have been created by Vincent Ngo in 1996. Hancock the character isn't really bi-polar, just the way the movie was put together. The first half of the film and the second half could have been from two completely different movies.
Both Hancock and I am Legend were terrible films. Williard Smith needs to get his stuff together. He's turning into another Eddie Murphy, whereby he only makes crap films.
'Hancock' was a British sit-com of the early 1960s starring Tony Hancock. It was an absolute classic. When I heard there was an American movie called 'Hancock' I just assumed it was based on that character but set in America to appease American audiences. I'm guessing - it isn't. I'll shut up now ...
Me too. I thought it was good because of it was publicized so well. Maybe that is where they focused... to make sounds like a good movie.
