If you're not willing to listen to the truth, you might as well just logoff now and save yourself from wasting any more time here.

It might be too late - the time to express your impassioned feelings for Ex-Congressman Foley might have been before the scandal broke.

I couldn't agree more. I wonder how they got themselves the right to speak about Islam, see two planes flying into WTC and that makes you an expert on Islam overnight? I can't believe these guys are serious in thinking that we buy that :D

We really don't care what you "buy", because we don't need your permission.

We're Americans. In America, we have freedom of thought, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion. And if you don't like it, you can go to hell.

Yeah, right. So discriminating against people who wear niqab is your idea of "freedom of religion" to you. How nice. Oh, by the way, you ask us to "go to hell" but you don't believe in the existence of hell. So where is hell exactly? :D

Pick an answer. Pick either answer. Pick one and defend it honestly.

Note to readers of this thread: Menj is lost and is confusing this thread with this thread. You will have to go to that thread to have any idea what he is babbling about.

    Menj:

Crossing threads is just about as confusing as your refusal to answer any questions, your inability to speak in plain and honest language, and your cryptic way of replying without responding.

You're more comical and less sensible than Baghdad Bob.

Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh just rejected a compromise proposal which was prepared by his own party. The proposal called for a government of technocrats, instead of loyal jihadis.

Abbas seems to be letting the Hamas hotheads cool their heels for awhile.

He's afraid to invoke his constitutional power to dissolve their government, because that will most certainly cause hundreds or thousands of casualties.

At the same time, he is also contrained by his committment to peace and his desire to see his country and his countrymen move ahead in the world. That's not possible with Hamas in their current role.

So, Abbas is playing a waiting game. While he waits, all of Palestine suffers.

Hamas could end this suffering today, but refuses. They don't want peace, they want victory.

Abbas is (rightfully) terrified to use his power to end this suffering, for fear that only greater suffering will result.

So, the entire nation of Palestine sits and waits while time and progress pass them by.

Maybe that is because I am exhausted and I do not have much time to waste with you? After all I am multi-tasking. Enduring the fast, doing programming work and participation in the forum, all at the same time, is not easy.
